| What an ATOMIC ending! I lost my shit when he materialized crowbars it was hype as fuck! Definitely one of my favorite isekai ever ( if not my absolute favorite) right next to overlord. The week is gonna be long now that overlord tuesday and eminence wednesday are no more ;( nyugvo6 said: Ikr. I am still shocked to this day that a studio this competent still exists! | i have to say as a LN reader this ep is very big wow to me...thing that spoil about 3 vol ahead, thing that give us hint that LN vol not yet published and thing that not even have in that arc.... animation is great character expressions is great BGM is super geat i like the most is before alpha spoke there is BGM playing then it went to high and alpha blend in with her voice like she is singing... the BGM when shadow use his power too is so good |

Looks like shonen anime is more of your jam mean, if Alexia was actually the main character then i probably would have liked the show more as she you know... It's just that you could say that Shadow is the Saitama of this show, both primary function is to look cool, introduce OP bad guy for the other characters to struggle but could be killed by the MC easily to end the arc, and to some extent becomes the main drive for other characters to grow. |

| Wasn't particularly fond of the slashing swords effects used when they were zoomed out, felt like it lowered the quality of the fight but the close in shots while they fought were nice. All the additional fight scenes was really nice to see. I'm not sure about the light novel but in the manga, the fight is much shorter and they don't even leave the coliseum. Them deciding to show us his life before reincarnating back in episode 1 finally had some fruition with him having him dual wield crowbars during the fight, his weapon of choice in his past life. Overall, I did enjoy the anime and would definitely like to see more. |
| HIGHEST ATOMIC ENDING Man I'm gonna miss this wild ass series. I hope it gets a season 2. Too bad the LNs aren't moving faster along otherwise I'd love to keep reading it. |

| what a way to end season 1! cid went back to the basics with his fav crowbars and owned them big time. was nice seeing the 'new sherry'. i think this is my aoty tbh, the enjoyment i got from this is unmatched. solid 9.5/10 anime overall.
