Beading for about 18 years,was guit good at it but I’ll be 80 soon and the brain not working as well so it is so nice to have something I can look at. Thanks 🙏👏👏👏👏🌹

    Dear Stephanie, This is the most beautiful braided cabochon I've seen on RUclips. Now I have health problems, so I decided on a purple agate as a thank you to my doctor for her care. I was looking for the most beautiful braid for a long time and decided on yours. Thanks so much for sharing, I hope she likes it as much as I do…💕💕💕

    I did it I did it!! I used a 30 x 40mm stone. It was a struggle because I had to put on 90 delica beads. At first I tried with 84 delicas and it was to tight. I use a different color in the 15 for the a bead since I didn't have a matching color but it worked out. Thank you Stephanie! I was concerned it would be too loose but it came out really nice can't wait to start the bail and necklace!

I'm already thinking about my colour scheme : )
    Thank you so much for the patience & effort you put into your and all your vids, & for the inspiration you've given me these many years - in fact, I learned more from you in just a few videos than I ever did from the 50 or so beading books I'd purchased! • First, Can you please tell me what the inside diameter and the depth of the glue-on clasp is? I have none and want to get something ordered before I start on this project.
    • Second, what kind of bead measuring caliper do you recommend? Mine did not hold up, and now I cannot measure things till I replace it, but would like your advice first.

    What a lovely and clear video! Question: Do you have the bead counts for the patterned bezel for a stone 25x30? Is there a formula for doing a pattern with the scalloped front....does the bead count need to be divisible by three or four to get everything to work out... so the all scallops are even and you don't end up with a half of scallop at the end ? Thanks you for so many wonderful videos!!!

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  2 года назад

      Thank you 🙏 I wish I knew a formula for making every design work for all size stones. I’m not a peyote expert so there might be something. When I figure a bezel it starts out with an even number of beads. The resulting bezel is half that number. The scalloped edge will depend on whether your halved amount is even or odd and how you make the scallop design. I designed this one flat and then adjusted the design for a continuous round. I’m sure this didn’t help 🤣🤣🤣

    As usual up to your gorgeous standard. Have just spent a happy hour round the net looking for the perfect 25x18 cab, as usual, it's the size I don't have. Settled on a beautiful Lapis Lazuli, now all I need are some Toho 11/0 Nickel seed beads, some of their triangle beads and I'll be ready. It's such a treat when you do one of your beautiful patterns, imagining it, making it and then watching it float out of the door on a sister's or nieces neck. It's amazing the amount of pieces I make and how few of them I actually get to keep! You must work really hard on these pieces, thinking up something new and do-able all the time, I hope you realise how much your efforts are appreciated. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been well but happy that you are feeling better. 🥰🥰🥰

      Aww thank you so much 😊 I love searching for the perfect cabochon. I end up buying many perfect cabs 😅 They’re so unique and beautiful! I love lapis and plan to make one for myself 🌸🌼

    Wow this pattern is gorgeous! If I wanted to bezel a larger stone with this pattern, would the multiplier be 6 (3 of each color)?

      I haven’t tried a larger stone. You’ll need to work it out on graph paper to get the pattern correct. I used Bead Tool 4 to create a flat even count peyote and then figured how to do it in the round.

      This is a very challenging bezel. I’m so glad you tried it and I hope you come back to it after a break😊💕🙏
